Our students also enjoy going on trips including to look at how power stations operate, as well as to Alton Towers to see how the rides work. Plus they take part in both internal and external competitions with other colleges throughout the year with great prizes on offer. Industry opportunities We have excellent links with industry and have helped students to gain apprenticeships and employment with local companies. All of our full-time students are required to complete work experience as part of their study programme. Every year we have local employers contact us to recruit our best students, give talks on what they look for in an individual and give away prizes for the best and most improved student.
