It's really easy actually. Assuming you installed PsyCollider in the same place as I did it would look like this: cd C:\Program Files\PsyCollider\SwingOSC java -jar build/SwingOSC.jar -t 57111 -i -L in a Notepad file saved as swing.bat (in my case). Then I put that in the Windows/System32 folder so all I have to do is run command prompt, type swing and press enter. -Cole On Sun, Mar 16, 2008 at 3:51 PM, Marc Demers wrote: Hello Cole, I have PsyCollider on my laptop with Windows XP and everythings work fine... I was hoping (a Windows user can dream once a while that all softwares work fine on every Windows systems...sigh...) to be able to run it on my other laptop with Vista... Thanks' for the help and have done a .bat ile yourself? However I do have a work-around. Before you start PsyCollider you must first start swingOSC from the command prompt. From the command prompt go to the directory \PsyCollider\SwingOSC then type the following java -jar build/SwingOSC.jar -t 57111 -i -L This will start swingOSC by itself. Now you can start PsyCollider and everything will work. All the info about starting swing from the command line is in the swing help file for if you need more info about that. I would suggest after getting this to work that you make a .bat file with the cd and start command in it and put it in the Windows/System32 folder so you can just call that file from the prompt instead of doing all that typing every time you restart PsyCollider. Let me know if you have any other questions. -Cole On Sun, Mar 16, 2008 at 1:34 PM, Marc Demers wrote: Hi to all, Is someone has been able to start PsyCollider on Windows Vista? I have tried a lot of combination with the firewall but I kept getting that the SwingOSC cannot connect to a socket...
