National ICT Australia Networked Sensing and Control Laboratory School of Engineering Deakin University Summer Research Scholarships Are you interested in undertaking research in Medical/rehabilitation robotics, electronics and software development? Are you currently an undergraduate student at Deakin University (enrolled for 2016), Waurn Ponds campus? If you answered YES to above, you can now apply for summer research scholarships (NICTA/Deakin) at Networked Sensing and Control Laboratory, Deakin University. At Networked Sensing and Control (NSC) laboratory, we are undertaking research on assistive technologies, wearable sensors, assistive robotics and mobile sensor networks aimed at using in specific applications. With recent involvements in bio-medical devices, we are looking for highly motivated candidate with following qualifications: 1. Experience in software development in C#, C/C++ or Java 2. Experience in depth sensors/ 3D vision sensor technologies, particularly 3D map building and SLAM. 3. Ability work in a team environment We have a scholarship to be awarded for the qualified applicant.
