Collaboration Tools 
Blackboard Collaborate Blackboard Collaborate is a virtual classroom tool designed to provide staff and students a collaborative environment for conducting online virtual classes, lectures or meetings. 
Please note: Java is required to run Blackboard Collaborate on your computer. Griffith computers should have Java installed, but you may need to install it on personal computers. Java is a free download:

Launching Collaborate in Mozilla Firefox 
 1. Open the link for your Collaborate session in Mozilla Firefox.   
   The following popup will appear.   2. Select Open with 3. Press OK

Your computer will go through a series of downloads... and then Java will start 
   The following popup will appear.  4. Select Run 
 
 Collaborate will launch. You may be prompted to indicate your internet connection speed. 5. Select your connection speed from the dropdown.  a. If you are using a university computer in a lab, the correct selection is Cable/DSL. 
   Collaborate will now load...                                                                and your computer will connect to the session

Launching Collaborate in Google Chrome  1. Open the link for your Collaborate session in Google Chrome. 2. An alert will appear at the bottom of your browser. Select Keep.   
   3. A download will appear at the bottom of your browser. Click on the arrow to activate the menu.  
   4. From the menu select Open.
