Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for A Grade Electricians Construction Trades - Short Course - Heidelberg Construction Trades - Short Course - Heidelberg Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) has developed Victoria’s first program of Continuing Professional Develop (CPD) training for the electrical trade. Most classes of electrical licence holders are to attend the 8-hour training course prior to applying for a renewal of your licence. The course can be completed within two years of your licence requiring renewal. Requirements You must be apprenticed to an employer and must also have a current electrical apprenticeship agreement registered with the Australian Apprenticeship Centre. Next Steps Apprenticeships are coordinated via the Trade and Traineeship Support Unit (TSU) where you will provide details of your employer, who will register you with an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider. The AASN will register your training contract with EPSILON and you will be allocated an EPSILON number. Melbourne Polytechnic will then be able to enrol you into your training program.
