This degree is perfect if you want to keep your options open as you will study a broad range of topics including networking, and develop enhanced knowledge of html, CSS, PHP, java (OOP) and MySQL and security of websites. You will work collaboratively with an employer on a website redevelopment project, to gain real-work experience and develop your professional skills.  You will also have the opportunity to study a Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA) qualification of your choice.  Entry requirements 64 UCAS points If you are a current Newcastle College student and successfully pass your Level 3 course in an appropriate subject, you will be guaranteed a place on a degree course. Once you complete your degree you may decide to progress onto one of our BSc (Hons) Applied Computing (Top-Up) degrees. Or you may decide that you want to go into employment and look for roles such as a network engineer, junior software developer, project manager, web developer or data analyst.
