VR is a fully computer generated environment that gives you an immersive experience of being there. AR layers digital information onto the real world in real time through the use of a camera-equipped device like a mobile phone in order to augment or enhance reality. Try and borrow VR and AR equipment The TEL team offers you to test and use different VR and AR equipment, including headsets and controllers, which you can bring into your teaching. Our team of learning technologists can also support you with the design of different activities relevant to your students. This Hub aims to promote the exchange of information within Oxford; externally, the Hub wants to engage with companies and other institutions. By connecting those with innovative ideas and those with hardware, the Hub intends to demonstrate the applicability of VR and AR in research, education and other activities conducted by the University.
