How to Access RIT Lab Safety Training 
 
Supported Browsers: 
Windows Platform: Internet Explorer and Google Chrome (enable Java) 
Mac: Firefox (Preferred) and Safari 
Please note: While these browsers are listed as supported from a vendor standpoint, our testing has shown 
that not every version of each browser will work here at RIT.  Some RIT browser-based applications, (such as 
Kronos) require specific browser versions and plugins, therefore, if you experience problems, please try an 
alternate browser.  
 
1 To get started, click the following link and log in using your RIT username and password: https://www.rit.edu/fa/cpd/elzlogin/index.php?course=_scorm12_sppubrit_ritlabsafety 
2 To launch the course, click the blue play button in the shape of a triangle ( ).  Please note that the course 
might take a short time to load. 
3 In order to complete this course you’re required to view all slides and score 100% on all quiz questions. To 
review slides, use the navigation buttons at the left hand corner of the screen:  
The final slide is EH&S contact information page. 
4 Once you complete the learning asset, you can print a certificate of completion by clicking MY 
PROGRESS, selecting the Completed tab, and clicking the Red Ribbon icon ( ).  
 
5 If the ribbon does not appear, course is not completed. You can return to it by clicking MY PROGESS, 
selecting the In Progress tab and then clicking the blue play button in the shape of a triangle ( ).
