COM1003 Java Programming Assessment COM1003 Java Programming 2020/21 Autumn Semester Assessment COM1003 is taught over two semesters. This page only covers the assessment for the first semester. Each semester is worth 50% of the overall mark for COM1003. The assessments in the first semester will consist of Quizzes worth 48% of the marks for the 1st semester Assignments worth 52% of the marks for the 1st semester The Quizzes There will be three Blackboard quizzes. They will each consist of 8 short questions and are designed to take 20 minutes but I will allow an extra 10 minutes for internet difficulties. They will be released in a 24 hour window; you can start any time you like within that window but once you start you must submit within 30 minutes and you will not be allowed to try again. The three quizzes are each worth 16% of your 1st semester mark so 8% of your overall module mark. The feedback and marks will be available on Blackboard within 48 hours of the close of the test window. Students with disabilities who get extra time in examinations will get extra time for the quiz as long as I know about them. I should receive the reports from DDSS but, to be on the safe side, you could email me to make sure I know about you.
