The number of competencies required depends on your existing electrical work training permit. Restricted Electrical Work Licences do not authorise the holder to carry out installation work. You will receive a Statement of Attainment, but not the full Certificate III in Appliance Service qualification. Restricted Electrical License tradespersons or technicians must meet one of the following: overseas qualification recognised by Trade Recognition Australia current trade qualification of Certificate III or above five years experience where you are required to perform incidental electrical work. Applicants must have a suitable qualified supervisor within the workplace.
