The number of competencies required depends on your existing electrical work training permit. Restricted Electrical Work Licences do not authorise the holder to carry out installation work. You will receive a Statement of Attainment, but not the full Certificate III in Appliance Service qualification. Restricted Electrical License tradespersons or technicians must meet one of the following: overseas qualification recognised by Trade Recognition Australia current trade qualification of Certificate III or above five years experience where you are required to perform incidental electrical work. Applicants must have a suitable qualified supervisor within the workplace. Applicants must be able to produce an Electrical Work Training Permit from the Electrical Safety Office For information on demonstrating a requirement for this licence please click Resources Required Materials list: pen notebook Need to know Once students successfully complete their training with us, they must complete the application process with ESO to receive their Restricted Electrical Licence. Please Note: A restricted electrical work licence does not authorise the holder of the licence to carry out installation work. Prerequisites apply to certain units: students must have successfully completed UEENEEP012A before enrolling in UEENEEP017A students must have successfully completed UEENEEP015A before enrolling in UEENEEP020A students must have successfully completed UEENEEP010A before enrolling in UEENEEP016A students must have successfully completed UEENEEP014A (P010A) before enrolling in UEENEEP019A. Replacement skill set This skill set has been superseded, as of 4 October 2020. A transition period applies to enable current students to complete their study.
