A deal writer will process and review 25-60 contracts weekly. Detail-oriented candidates with accounting backgrounds typically perform well is this role, especially when the team member is looking to use core skills differently than typical accounting work. On Mondays, a deal writer works through a contract exception report, and adjusts exceptions with updated documentation. For unresolved exceptions, the deal writer collaborates with merchant teams to finalize exceptions prior to the deal (contract) performing.
