The lab is committed to delivering high impact research and equipping students with knowledge and skills to develop projects from early concept design to resolution. Our Facilities Wood Workshop The DFL Wood Workshop is a comprehensively outfitted workshop to allow staff students to perform all the tasks required for the making of models and prototypes for their courses. Advanced Manufacturing Lab The Advanced Manufacturing Lab allows for milling of various materials using numerically controlled routing. Digital Fabrication Lab (Laser Cutting) The Laser Cutting section of the Digital Fabrication Lab houses 6 laser cutters, a Zund vinyl cutter and the Design Futures Lab shop.
